Our piston volumetric dosing machines are suitable for dense, creamy and viscous products, even with pieces, and are used whether in the food industry for sauces, gravies, creams, jams, or in the cosmetic and chemical industries.

APPLICATION OF OUR VOLUMETRIC DOSERS
Our piston volumetric dosers are used in our semi-automatic machines, i.e. foot-operated by the operator, or in our automatic machines, i.e. equipped with automatic conveyor belts. Our volumetric filling machines can be purchased individually to be integrated into existing filling machines, and combined with product dispensing valves, also manufactured in-house.

OPERATION
Our piston volumetric dosers operate with compressed air and the dosing cycle consists of the product dispensing phase followed by suction. During the suction phase the piston retracts to suck in new product and be ready again for the next cycle.
The operation of the volumetric piston doser is easily explained in this graph, which shows that the filling cycle consists of two phases: the first one is the suction and refill phase, whereas the second one is the dosing phase.

The handwheel is used to adjust the dosing volume. By turning the handwheel clockwise or anti-clockwise, you can increase or decrease the piston stroke and therefore the dose.
